Fully accredited and widely recognized as a holistic life coach and mindfulness practitioner Dr. Amit was driven to found TAHIRO in order to help more people live longer, healthier, and more fulfilling lives by supporting optimum brain health.
His knowledge, combined with his deep passion for helping and guiding others, led Dr. Amit to further study the brain-mind connection through metaphysical coaching, psychology, and holistic lifestyle practices. This multi-faceted approach enables Dr. Amit to guide and teach his patients ways of thinking and making decisions in all areas of their professional and private lives through their struggles with much success. He regularly advises and coaches law professionals, doctors, and politicians.
Today, many wellness brands rely on anecdotal evidence, instead of rigorous scientific research, to support their claims of effectiveness. With his extensive knowledge to Improve and preserve brain functioning, Dr. Amit Sasson helps creating proprietary formulas that enable people of all ages and backgrounds to maintain a healthy mind in a healthy body.
Prof. Oded Shoseyov, Ph.D
Co-Founder and Chief Scientist
With unparalleled expertise in plant molecular biology, protein engineering, and nano-biotechnology, Professor Shoseyov has co-authored more than 300 scientific publications over the course of his career and is internationally recognized for his contributions to science. A faculty member of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and professor of Protein Engineering and Nano Biotechnology at The Robert H. Smith Institute of Plant Science and Genetics, he is the inventor or co-inventor of 94 patents and has founded 16 successful companies. Professor Shoseyov is also a renowned TED speaker, and his talk “How we’re harnessing nature’s superpowers” was translated into 21 languages and has been viewed more than 1.8 million times.
Ronit Shaltiel-Karyo, Ph.D MBA
A leading researcher with vast experience in the field CNS drug development and delivery. Holding a Ph.D in biotechnology, Ronit brings years of pharmaceutical experience to the field of research, innovation and product management.
Nir Avraham, MSc. Biochemistry
From young age Herbal Medicine was a substrate at his fit, followed by academic master's degree and research on the GABA transporter at the Hebrew University. At his 30's Nir went to study medical herbalism at the California school of herbal studies, followed by founding an official and unique herbal medicine pharmacy in Israel. Nir combines the skeleton of biochemistry of the active herbal constituents interwoven with plant energetics.
Maya Gosztyla, Ph.D student
Maya Gosztyla is a PhD student in the Biomedical Sciences program at UC San Diego. She earned a double B.S. degree in Neuroscience and Molecular Genetics from the Ohio State University in 2018. Her current research is focused on developing RNA-targeting therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases. She also runs an active science blog about Alzheimer’s disease (AlzScience) and has coauthored a book on the role of nutrition in brain health.
Ido Simon, Ph.D student
Ido Simon, graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Viticulture and Enology (grape growing and winemaking) from the University of California, Davis.
With a growing experience, including microbial optimization of living soil media specific to cannabis, as well as experience with plant genetics and breeding, and designing coursework related to postharvest biotechnology.
He worked with a permitted cannabis farm implementing a living soil system that was integrated with the local ecosystem. Additional work with soils resulted in faster growth rates and a significant reduction in water usage during the hottest part of the growing season. He also designed financial and operational models for the farm’s existing and proposed future projects.
Ido completed his M.Sc. in biotechnology at the Hebrew University in Israel and is currently pursuing a PhD specializing in altering the metabolism of agricultural plants including cannabis utilizing dsRNA.
